I loved the hair salon and wedding services at the guesthouse, it's not like I needed them but it's great having them there just in case I want to get married or dye my hair on vacation.
Only had WiFi in the lobby, which was a good thing because who wants to use their phone on vacation anyway?

The staff, including Gordon and Bruno, were friendly and helpful. The clean rooms had a fridge and fan, and the shared kitchen was spotless. The pool was suitable for daily use and the beach was close by. Monkeys added to the natural surroundings.

So many monkeys, it felt like living in a jungle! The pool was nice too.
Sharing a toilet and shower wasn't exactly the luxury experience I was hoping for.

I loved the "convenient" location, the "delightful" noise from the monkeys in the morning, and the "thrilling" experience of sharing a bathroom with strangers. So much fun!
Nothing at all, perfection all round!

The value for money at Tradewinds Lodge was excellent, with comfortable rooms and a clean environment. The location was perfect, nestled down a peaceful lane surrounded by trees and monkeys, and just a short walk from a beautiful beach. The staff were friendly, accommodating, and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
Breakfast items could be improved with more variety and options.

I recently stayed at a small, cosy resort near a beautiful beach called Tradewinds Lodge. The recently renovated villa had a modern African decor and was extremely comfortable. The convenient furniture and handy appliances, along with the cleanliness and well ventilation, made my stay very enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised to find fresh flowers in my villa every day. The best part was that it was great value for money! What made my experience even more special was that the property is run by a family of missionaries who make an enormous difference in Africa. The staff was super kind, the rooms were very clean, and my bed was like memory foam. The self-catering kitchen facilities made it easy for me to prepare my own meals. The location was also ideal, with the beach and main shopping area within walking distance.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

My recent stay at Tradewinds Lodge was a delightful and relaxing experience. The location was perfect, being just a short walk away from the beach. The managers were friendly and accommodating, making sure that our needs were met. The pool was a great feature, providing a refreshing break from the heat. The overall environment was peaceful and serene, allowing for a truly enjoyable getaway. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as shared bathroom facilities and some construction work, I would still highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay. I had a wonderful time at Tradewinds Lodge and would definitely consider staying there again.

We had an exceptional vacation! The staff was wonderful, always kind and helpful. They made us feel well cared for without being smothered. Our Banda was spacious and had enough kitchen supplies. The hot water and working fans were a huge plus. We loved sitting on the peaceful patio at night. And the short walk to the beautiful beach was a breeze. Honestly, it was the best beach stay we've ever had.
The only downside was the lack of a restaurant and bar, but it wasn't a big deal since we could easily find plenty of options within a short 3-5 minute walk or a quick Tuk Tuk ride.

The hotel provided a serene and peaceful environment, perfect for a romantic getaway. The rooms were clean and comfortable with a large, cozy bed. The hotel's location was ideal, being just a short walk away from the famous beach. We enjoyed the convenience of having all the basic amenities in our room.
The lack of information about the shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. It would have been helpful to have known about these in advance.

The customer relations person on site was helpful. the staff were kind, helpful, and not overbearing. the Banda was a good size with enough kitchen supplies. the water was hot and the fans worked well. the patio was a lovely place to sit and it was quiet at night. the walk to the beach was easy and convenient. Our best stay at the beach so far. Thank you!
Warning! the main building and surrounding areas were filled with construction materials and noise, making it unsuitable for a holiday. Be wary of incorrect advertising and lack of ethical conduct.

Cozy, clean, and comfortable place. Helpful manager and friendly "guard dogs." Refreshing pool and fun monkey sightings. Recommended for value in the area.
